Association of Connecticut Fairs 2019 Website Contest
This competition is open to all CT Fairs that are members in good standing to the CT Association of Fairs.An individual fair does not need to fill out a submission form, or enter their website.All websites will be considered.Judging will occur on or about August 1st and winners will be announced at the Fall Banquet.
Prizes will be awarded in each of four categories:
Major Fairs, District Fairs, 4-H Fairs, and Grange Fairs.
First Prize: Award certificate and $25
Second Prize: Award certificate and $20
Third Prize: Award certificate and $15
Websites will be judged based on the following criteria:
In the event of a tie, decision of the judges will be final.
Website must be active (for current fair year) or it will result in disqualification.
Overall appearance/impression - 20 points
Navigability of website (both desktop and mobile) - 10 points
Organization of information - 20 points
Use of graphics and other effects (with consideration how these may affect load time) - 10 points
Website adheres to a consistent theme - 10 points
Fair has Corresponding Social Media in same theme as website - 10 points
Social Media posts are pertinent to fair and regular in nature - 10 points
*NEW* Online availability and accessibility of Exhibitor Guide/Premium List - 10 points
Total - 100 points
EXTRA CREDIT:
Fair has a link to ctagfairs.org somewhere on their website - 5 points
Fair has updated their page on CTAgFairs.org for current fair season - 5 points
